At Bunny Haven Cafe, our mission goes far beyond creating a cozy space to spend time with bunnies. We’re passionate about rabbit welfare, education, and supporting rescue efforts in our community.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with Kind Heart Rescue, a dedicated rescue committed to helping abandoned, neglected, and unwanted rabbits find safe, loving homes. Kind Heart Rescue is a 501(c)3 Rescue that has been providing quality rescue for 30+ years.

Why We Partner With a Rescue

Every bunny you meet at Bunny Haven Cafe is there because they deserve love, care, enrichment, and a second chance. Our goal is to help guests learn more about rabbits while supporting ethical rescue and adoption practices.

We do not breed or sell rabbits.
We proudly feature rescue rabbits through our partnership with Kind Heart Rescue to help:

• Educate the public about proper rabbit care

• Promote responsible rabbit ownership

• Support rescue and rehabilitation efforts

• Help connect adoptable rabbits with the right families

About the Bunnies at Bunny Haven Cafe

The rabbits selected for Bunny Haven Cafe are carefully chosen based on temperament and comfort level. Not every rabbit enjoys social interaction, and that’s okay.

Our bunny welfare practices include:

• Guided and supervised interactions only

• No forced handling

• Rotation schedules and decompression breaks

• Separate rest areas away from guests

• Enrichment-focused environments

• Close communication with our rescue partner regarding each bunny’s needs

• The wellbeing of the rabbits will always come first.
